Frequently Asked Questions

Q: At a fully vertical 90° pad angle, how do I stop the mouse from gradually sliding when I let it go?
→ A: Start by removing the rear mouse feet then test it. If you need even more friction, remove all
the feet for maximum anti-slip resistance. Its all about tuning the mouse feet to fit your personal
preferences for glide vs. grip at the angles you prefer to use your pad.

Q: When I use the mouse “palm up”, is there an app to invert left and right tracking?
→ A: Yes. See the downloads page. However, we strongly suggest tricking your mind
to think “pad left” and “pad right” for cursor movements. By focusing your mind on
the direction the mouse is moving with respect to the pad instead of the screen,
we found it resolved our inverted disorientation rather quickly.

Q: Can I use this with a regular mouse?
→ A: Yes. A regular mouse may be used. However, the system is
optimized for our magnetic mouse.

Q: Is the pad suitable for high-DPI speed gaming?
→ A: It’s possible, but the magnetic pad is optimized for office productivity.
Put the mouse on your desk for gaming use. It’s only 52 grams, with 6 onboard DPI speeds.

Q: How do I clean the mousepad?
→ A: Wipe with a damp cloth; avoid harsh cleaners.

“I’m afraid the clamp could damage the mounting surface.”
Softer materials like certain kinds of soft wood could leave a mark if you
clamp it really tightly. So, if you’re concerned about this, we suggest putting
something between the clamp and the surface to cushion the grip of the clamp.

“My mouse won’t stay where I left it on the pad. It begins to slide
downwards when I let it go.”
Check that you tied off the extra cable slack of the mouse described in
Step 3 of Page 4. It’s likely you’re using the mousepad in a vertical position around ~90 degrees.
In this case you can remove the mouse feet starting with the rear feet/skates for more friction
to stop the slipping. Remove all the feet for maximum stay put anti-slip resistance. This is a personal preference.

“I broke my pad. It got hit pretty hard by accident and the circular
panel separated from the arm.”
What might work is a strong double sided tape cut into the circular shape of
the surfaces it detached from. Just in case this happened to you, we’ve
included one piece of this special tape in the box.
Accidents happen, and maybe you can stick it back on.
